Introducing the Hwashi Gantry Multi-Head Wire Mesh Welder — a high-production welding system featuring multiple welding heads mounted on a movable gantry beam for simultaneous row welding. Capable of welding an entire row of contact points in a single stroke, this machine dramatically accelerates mesh panel production. Optional dual-layer or bidirectional rack systems enable continuous automated welding cycles with minimal operator intervention.

Product Description

The Hwashi Gantry Multi-Head Wire Mesh Welder is engineered for high-speed row welding in wire mesh production. Multiple welding heads are mounted on a movable gantry beam that can be adjusted horizontally to vary the spacing between welding points, accommodating different mesh specifications without changing tooling.

The system supports two or more MFDC welding power supplies operating in parallel, with each head delivering consistent welding current simultaneously. This means an entire row of wire intersections can be completed in a single pass — dramatically reducing cycle time compared to single-head sequential welding.

The dual-layer or bidirectional rack system enables continuous production: one material rack feeds into the welding zone while the other is being loaded, and the direction of material flow can be reversed to optimize workshop layout. Operators simply place wire on the fixture, start the cycle, and remove the finished panel.

This machine is the ideal choice for manufacturers producing large-volume standard mesh products where speed and consistency are paramount.

Working Principle

The multi-head gantry system achieves high-speed row welding through synchronized parallel operation:

  1. Wire Placement — Operators arrange longitudinal and transverse wires on the fixture rack according to mesh specification
  2. Head Spacing Adjustment — Welding heads on the gantry beam are positioned horizontally to match wire spacing
  3. Beam Positioning — The gantry beam moves along Y-axis to align with the first row of wire intersections
  4. Simultaneous Row Welding — All mounted welding heads descend simultaneously, delivering MFDC current to every intersection in the row at once
  5. Beam Traverse — After the row is complete, the gantry beam indexes forward to the next row position
  6. Row-by-Row Completion — The process repeats until all rows are welded, completing the full panel
  7. Panel Unloading & Rack Switch — Finished panel is removed; system may switch to pre-loaded second rack if bidirectional mode is active
